PHI (PARAPROFESSIONAL HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE)
How does one deal with the critical shortage of home care workers in this country? Where does one begin? These are the questions faced by PHI, the nation’s leading authority on the direct care workforce. Their answer? An innovative, interactive, 2-year education campaign carefully crafted – in collaboration with RD Design – to reach an audience of millions. To give the campaign a unique visual identity, we used highly styled illustrations by Mark Conlan to visualize all 60 issues. His colorful figures “dance” around PHI’s issues microsite and animate all the campaign’s printed materials, including a brochure and postcards (one for each issue). Every few weeks we post a new issue, along with memes on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, engaging ever more constituents in the conversation. In less than 2 years, this campaign has transformed the home healthcare sector, reaching thousands of online users and generating millions of impressions.
